Yesterday I talked about eliminating or at least reducing certain foods that viruses love to eat. No food = Microorganisms can't survive.


Next on the list is Fats. Why is it important to lower your fat intake? Oxygen levels in your bloodstream get lowered when your blood is filled up with fats from the foods you eat. To help reduce rapidly growing viruses, oxygen is needed in your blood. This is one of the reasons why eating high fat diets can make people sick and weaken their immunity in the long run.

If you start removing eggs and dairy from from diet, you’re on the right course to lowering your fat intake. The next step is to minimize other high fat sources in your diet such as peanut butter and other nut butters, oils of all kinds. Including, pork, chicken and soy products. These are high in fat and any foods that have fats added to them.

Now, it doesn’t mean you need to completely eliminate all fats from your diet, just looks to cut down fats whenever possible and chose the healthiest fats you can.

Some of these healthy fats include, avocado, coconut, nuts and seeds. Even with these healthy fats, it’s best to avoid eating them before 12pm if possible. I’ll write why this is important later.

Do your best to completely remove fat-based foods such as eggs, dairy and pork, especially if you feel you have a virus of any kind! You'll feel bette quickly when you eliminate the virus' food source.

Add some healthy fat to your meal with this simple recipe:

Avocado Salsa Boats 2 avocados 1 ½ cup diced tomato 1 cup diced cucumber ¼ cup minced cilantro 1 garlic clove, minced 1 lime, juiced 1/8 cup minced jalapeno 1/8 tsp Himalayan salt 1/8 tsp cayenne (optional)

Directions: Cut the avocados in half and remove pits. Combine all the remaining ingredients in a bowl. Scoop mixture in to the center of each half of avocado and enjoy!


Thyme is an incredible antiviral herb that has the ability to relieve numerous symptoms caused by viruses. And, thyme can knock down the viral load throughout your body and help you heal.

Thyme Tea: • 2 or more sprigs of fresh thyme • 1-2 cups of hot water • fresh lemon • raw honey (optional)

Directions: Place fresh thyme in a cup or mug, pour in hot water and let steep for 15 minutes or more. Remove thyme springs or strain. Sweeten with raw honey if desired. Tomorrow I’ll give you some of my favorite, go to supplements that have the best chance of improving your health.
