Beliefs are our constructed ideas that shape our reality and govern the way we think, react and live our life. We are constantly adapting them, usually based on what we see, hear or the meaning we give to situations. Wouldn’t you want to live according to beliefs that push you forward?

Pleasant or unpleasant experiences in childhood and throughout life cause your responses. Feelings such as uncertainty, anger, fear, resentment, contentment, trust, joy, curiosity and so on. We create a set of beliefs about the world based on those experience and react based on those beliefs (thoughts) to events and situations, in ways that can be completely unrelated to the reality of the present situation. Anything that helps undo those stressful beliefs and automatic reactions liberates us to respond in the present.

Typical talk therapy is built on people spending months, sometimes years working through internal struggles.
